Fondue Fun

If you know me, you know that I LOVE & adore all things chocolate. Especially dark chocolate. And if you are a chocolate lover like me, you probably know the delicious goodness of fondue.

This school year, I am leading a small group for some of our small group leaders...junior and senior women who are involved with our Epic ministry and are leading small groups for underclassmen ladies. We kicked off our small group last week and I wanted to host them for a fun night of fondue where we could spend some time getting to know each other and talking about our hopes for the year. What could be better than enjoying chocolate while we chatted?

Here are the sweet girls (we were missing one!) right before we dug into the chocolate! I'm sure you will be seeing more photos of them in the future. (clockwise from top left: Rachel, Renee, Katie, Joy, Angel)

I wanted to make our table festive for the occasion, so I stamped a place card for each of the girls' placesetting. They used the cards later in the evening to record their thoughts for an activity.

We had a sweet time of fellowship together and I am very much looking forward to getting to know each of their hearts better in the weeks & months to come! I can't wait to see how God is going to work in each of their lives through our time together and as they lead a small group of girls in loving & following Jesus.

Amber,
Your fondue post brought back memories of a fondue bridal shower I gave for one of my college roommates in 1973. What fun we had. In the 70's fondue parties were all the rage! It's so neat how trends come back into style after 30 plus years!
