Overnight Getaway

Last Thursday night, Truman and I took advantage of his prize and had a fun overnight getaway at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa! We had a refreshing time of relaxation before the busy season of ministry begins this fall.

We slept late in this big ol' comfy bed...

Enjoyed this view through the french doors and from the balcony...

Spent two afternoons doing this...

While sitting beside this....

And ate a delicious steak dinner here....

It was a such a blessing to have this little getaway from every day life & kick back and have some fun together!

Oh, what fun! NEVER stop having those get-aways, just the two of you....

Priceless treasures, they are...

Enjoy these get-aways... it gets harder as the years roll by but it is so, so worth it!

Looks like you had a wonderful time!

(You still look like newlyweds!)

Blessings!

Amber,
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by and commenting on my blog. It looks like you're really enjoying life in Austin! I would like to link you on my side bar in my 'Favorite Places to Visit' section. I would love to have a young blogger in Austin on there, would you mind? I miss Austin ALOT!!

About the stained glasses, the small one that you commented on; that is it's ORIGINAL frame. I thought that was so neat, most of them were in original frames (having been saved from houses that were being demolished). I wasn't able to pick one with the original frame though, as it would have been to heavy for my window pane.

Hopefull I can take a break tonight and read more of your blog; it looks like you've posted so much since last time I was on your page.

Have a great weekend,
Angela

Hi again! I'm glad you commented on my blog, 'cause it reminded me that I need your mama's email address!

I know we traded emails at the last (screamo) :-) concert we saw each other at.... but I've lost her email. Or maybe she'll see this and just email me.

Thanks. I'll be following your adventures!
